I’ve said this a few times already this week, but I’ll say it again…School is mere days away and already I’m feeling the pressures of Back-To-School stuff, however. I had a great summer with the kids and I’d like to share some of the high-lights of these past three months.
For one thing, we played in the sand

…and had a blast at the Pool.

Dad and I said goodbye to the girls as they left for their first ever Church Summer Camp,

And were thrilled to see their happy faces when they got home.

And if that wasn’t enough separation for one mom, I skyped with the girls when they were away at grandmas.

We went to the park and watched the roosters rest,

and watched a bird eat bread out of a woman’s hand.

We even went fishing at night…which is something we don’t do often

and watched Patience real in her first fish (of the summer).

Yep, it was a great summer; one that we all enjoyed, but no summer is complete until I was able to spend time with all three of my goofs.

Those are the times when I’m happiest.
So how was yours? Are there any memorable moments that made the summer what it was?
Disclosure: I’ve entered a Capture Your Summer Contest – hosted by Smiley360. All pictures are my own. This was not a paid post and participation into this giveaway was optional.

We rented a cabin on the lake and got to go fishing every morning!
I bet that was a blast. I would love to do something like that. Did you catch anything?
I hope you win the contest! Looks like you captured lots of great memories this summer.
Awe, thanks Renee. I hope I win too, it’s been a long time since I’ve won a giveaway.
