@CartoonNetwork’s Almost Naked Animals; How funny!

by barb on September 6, 2012

Okay so apparently Cartoon Network’s Almost Naked Animals has been around for a while, but because my girls stick to only a handful of channels, we never got the memo on this one. That is until just recently.

Patience, Piper and I recently watched – for the first time – Almost Naked Animals: Volume 1, on DVD and all I can say is ~ this show is cr-a-zzzy! Some one behind the scenes of this series has a very peculiar sense of humor (kind of like Nickelodeon’s Real Monsters – wow…or Disney’s Fish Hooks).

Cartoon Network’s Almost Naked Animals is a very interesting cartoon. It’s funny though, don’t get me wrong. The girls and I really had a good time watching the show, but I do think Piper got annoyed by a few of the characters because in the middle of watching the last episode Piper brought me this note that read:

Pipers Thoughts

If you didn’t get that – she doesn’t like that Poodle cause it’s mean, Pig and Duck because they’re annoying, Sloth is just weird and Nar-Whal is loud. On a good note – she loves Batty, Bunny, dog and octopus.

Would I allow my kids to watch this show again? Sure. I thought it was pretty funny. Now granted, some episodes might have been a little gross but I thought it was bad enough to tell them to change shows.

PS- the merchandise for this show is too cute! I love sporting my new bag about as much as Patience loves sporting her new T-shirt.

I don’t know about this one, Barb…I might have to wait a while before I show this to my boy. ;)

LOL…I know what you mean – hahaha. I tell you what, they come out with some crazy cartoons every once in a while. Some I don’t mind the girls watching (for a little while) and others (like Nickelodeon’s FRED – can’t stand that character or his shows) I won’t them watch at all. :)

My opinion – yeah, wait a little while before letting the little guy watch this cartoon. It’s funny and all but still.

Happy Friday Hun!!!!
