#OMG I’m Pulling My Hair Out

by barb on September 1, 2012

I should have known this week was going to be a long one.

1st day of school

How many parents are dealing with the same crap this weekend? The kids are in the worst of moods (worse than ever before) and it’s all because of the change in their eat and sleep schedule. This new routine has made them so cranky and mean.

Man, I am definitely praying that this attitude changes soon because I think the ugliness is spreading.

I was at the end of my rope with the girls yesterday, hints the reason for a no-post day. This morning I had a doctors appointment (for the girls) – going back for another follow-up appointment this week – and tomorrow…let’s just say that’s my day to relax. We go to church – maybe lunch too – and then we come home.

I hope everyone’s having a great weekend so far. Enjoy the next few days and, like me, don’t work too hard.

PS- I think John’s taking us somewhere. He’s getting scuba gear together. Maybe I’ll have pictures to share with you guys in a few hours (or a day). Maybe the girls will be in better moods too. I guess we’ll see soon enough.

My daughter started school a couple of weeks ago and I feel your pain!!! She has had a piss-poor attitude, especially this weekend, of all weekends, the 3 day weekend! Seems she has forgotten that Mommy and Daddy are still boss, even though she gets away with goodness knows what at school all day. She comes home to us, we tighten the reins, and boy does she rebel! Please tell me it gets better!
Oooo, scuba diving sounds fun–hope you get to go and you get some great pictures. Have a great Labor Day tomorrow!

I’m so sorry you dealt with piss-poor attitudes too, but – lucky for me – I wasn’t the only mom having to cope. :) It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who has pain-in-the-butt kiddos. LOL!
