Let’s Talk Floor & Decor

John and I are now in the market of buying our first home. It’s a time I’ve been waiting for, for a very long time. The girls can’t wait for a backyard and I can’t wait for a house to call my own.

John and I have decided to buy a nice ‘fixer-upper’; one that will need some elbow grease, but nothing we can’t do ourselves.

That said…

John and I have slowly started to visit local hardware stores and online decor outlets; to give us a few decorating ideas and some much needed DIY renovation inspiration. From there, and of the stores/outlets we like most (both online and off), we’re narrowing that list down to the places that offer low price flooring, a wide selection of decorative pieces for the home, and above all – they sell it all in one place.

Floor & Decor has a wide variety of flooring and offers a large variety of decorating options for the home. And if you ask me – I think they have the best selection in hardwood flooring (my opinion of course)…especially when we’re talking Bamboo moldings and wood flooring. I’m talking gorgeous options people.

If you get a chance, take a look at the Patina Hand scraped carbonized solid standard bamboo (in their bamboo flooring section). It’s exactly what I want to see in every room of my home.

John and I are into the rustic-natured look. We love greenery, wood, weathered shipping crates, and all things “earthy.” As a matter of fact, if I could have my house built around a huge, and very old, oak tree – using the tree as a corner post in a majority of the rooms – that would be my dream home; fully housed with natural woods, stainless steels (because it compliments dark woods) and handmade wicker baskets scattered about. I feel so cozy just thinking of that place I’ll call home.

If you’re looking to renovate your home, plan to purchase a home that needs a little TLC, or just want to upgrade a single room in your house, I encourage you to visit Floor & Decor Outlet, online. They have a variety of porcelain, ceramic, stone, tile, wood and laminate flooring. They even offer wall tiles, glass/decorative pieces, kitchen/bath items and so much more. I’m definitely drawn to their Bamboo flooring, but again, that’s just me; they’ve got plenty more to drool over.
