I haven’t been a dog owner for long, but we’ve been gifted with his presence long enough to know that life just wouldn’t be the same without Jäger.

Now mind you, Jäger is not the gentlest of souls (still teaching him to stop biting) but he makes us laugh, smile and spend more quality time together – as a family…and I know that if a puppy like him can bring this busy family together for a few hours of uninterrupted quality time…and can be the therapy I need to get out of this awful funk I’ve been in, I can just imagine how much a therapy dog can do for those in need.

Jäger is the type of dog that will tilt his head when you talk to him and act like he’s listening and holding onto every word you’re saying. He has the cutest smile and has a way with making you feel better, even when you just want to close the door and hide under a rock. He’s a great dog and I’m so glad that we added him to our family.

And when he needs to step outside to use nature’s facilities, this is how he looks at me.

And if you thought those were cute. Check out this look. It reminds me of someone saying, “How you doin’?”

Go on and say it – I’ve got some serious love for this boy!!! He’s such a ham.

Share a Story and Share the Love

Cesar has recently created the Share a Story and Share the love initiative to help support and spotlight therapy dog organizations; to ensure people in need continue to receive the powerful benefits of a dog’s unconditional love. This campaign encourages dog lovers (like me) to share heartwarming stories of therapy dogs, and in return, Cesar donates to three therapy dog organizations so that the services can continue to help provide people with love of a dog.
