Giveaway: @CocaCola Prize Pack worth $120 to help #CokePIF in #2013

by barb on January 5, 2013

I assume everyone – at least once in their life – has been at the giving or receiving end of some sort of “Pay-It-Forward” experience. I know I have.

A Coca-Cola Pay It Forward can be anything; something big enough to impact an entire community, or small enough to impact just one person – making their day a whole lot brighter.

Just this morning while getting coffee at the corner store, I experienced a small yet very sweet pay it forward; a lady standing in line behind me offered to buy my coffee. I already had the change out of my purse to pay for it but she insisted I let her buy. That simple act of kindness meant so much to me. It’s brightened my day and gave me ideas on how to pay that kindness forward!

As a young teen military family with children, we didn’t have much money, and during Christmas was hard. One year we came home to find someone had left us a Christmas tree by our door. It was the most unselfish, caring thing to do since we had no family to depend on.

Just wanted to add, we now always give to help others, because we know how it feels.

We had to use the local food bank this year to have food for Christmas. It was humbling to have to ask for help, but it was very very much appreciated.
