Building your dream Yard with Milford

White picket fence Reclaimed European hardwood fencing (for that rustic feel), beautiful lush green grass, a procaine bird bath under a pecan tree that gives cover to the sandstone paved walkway leading a path to the front deck, right up to my front door – can you picture that? If you can, you’ve just seen what I imagine the entry way to my home will look like.

Have you built your dream yard yet?

About Milford Building Supplies : : The history of Milford Ltd. dates back to 1979, when the Company was founded as a subsidiary of Yorkshire quarry owner and aggregate supplier Harris Aggregates Ltd. Originally a very small company, we employed a mere five staff who operated out of a port cabin at our Cardigan Road yard. Our equipment simply consisted of one elderly Leyland truck, one Sherpa van, one forklift and one storage building. From these humble beginnings, Milford Ltd. has built up an outstanding reputation as being Yorkshire’s premier supplier of fencing and paving products, as well as a leading independent supplier of a huge range of building products.

Wow–I have major fence envy. That is a beautiful fence!

    • No kidding…I think European craftsmanship is beautiful; everything I ever saw – when I lived there -was beautiful, their houses, their yards, their castles…

        You lived in Europe?!?

  • Oh yeah, I lived in Germany (traveled to the Bavarian alps, saw Hitler’s Hideaway, went to a few underground bunkers, walked through the cemetery – where they filmed The Sound Of Music, went deep into the salt mines in Austria, walked through some absolutely amazing castles – during renaissance festivals, shopped, shopped and shopped some more). It was awesome!!! I was there from 1989-1993 and believe me, I miss it so much!

I never knew :) My brother in law was stationed in Germany in the early 90′s. He has many interesting stories to tell of that time..and a couple of ENORMOUS beer steins that serve as souvenirs!
