My girls are all about watching TV. I don’t even have to oversee what’s being put on the tube because; well…aside from being in the same room with them at all times, they usually only jump between five channels. In order of priority (to them); on TV first is always PBS Kids so that they can see all the usual morning shows they love so much. Then at noon they switch between The Animal Planet & TLC. They have to watch Cake Boss and a Baby Story (they have a serious addiction to these shows). Now, when those shows are over; then…and only then will they flip between Disney and Nickelodeon....
The time has come where I share my final thoughts on our YourSphere experience. It’s been a lot of fun for the girls and I really hope you enjoyed reading about the site and our overall experiences with it. For my girls- the fun is far from over. Patience and Piper continue to enjoy logging into the site to see the latest videos and have stated, repeatedly, that it is so much fun to read what other kids have to say. My kids have been so happy since I was chosen to participate in the YourSphere ambassador program. They love listening to the music that other kids upload. It is official. The girls began their summer vacation at exactly 1pm (CST) May 26th, 2010, yesterday. They will now be home with mom 24/7, playing games on the computer and being kids. Of course, we’ll get out and visit the park every few days since we live right across the street from one, but for now, it’s indoor activities via computer, books, movies, music, arts & crafts, etc. At least for the next couple of days. So far today the girls and I (and my son) have watched iCarly’s iFight Shelby Marx (too many times to count- in its entirety). We have also watched The Backyardigans Escape from the Tower and Nickelodeon’s Go Green. Each of these videos were received on Friday, and if you haven’t already noticed, they’ve been watched a few dozen times- each. I can’t help it…I’m a big fan of Nick Jr and Nickelodeon too, so I really don’t mind that either one of these channels is on almost all day or that the videos are being played back to back to back. It just seems to keep them entertained...
