I haven’t written a book review in a while (and with good reason). Between trying to relax with a good book in hand and trying to keep the kids from starving for attention- time can get away from you. Every once in a while I’d look over and see the books looking back at me saying, “read me, read me”. LOL.
But as it turned out, I was only able to read a paragraph from one and maybe another 2-3 paragraphs from the other. It’s driving me crazy because they’re both great (from what I’ve read) and I plan on getting caught up on my work as soon as humanly possible so that I might be...
So I think it’s safe to assume that most, if not all kids, are back at school. For the young ones; this is an exciting time. It’s new and definitely full of fun learning experiences. But for those entering into Jr. High and High school…these years can be pretty rough, maybe even a little overwhelming.
If the overload of classes weren’t enough for these kids to deal with…try adding clicks, wearing the latest brands and/or dealing with peer pressure. This can be pretty stressful for a teenager. And if all of that wasn’t enough still; let’s add acne problems to the whole mix.

I think I just sold C on another skin care product.
I can’t help it, every time I get a new product in the mail; if it’s something I think she’ll get a kick out of trying, I have to call her over. Now usually, I don’t make it mandatory for her to use and/or try it at my house. I typically hand her whatever it is I have and tell her to let me know what she thought…when she has the time to use it.
The funny thing was; this time, I wanted to see her reaction. I didn’t even want to wait to find out later what she thought. So like a stern woman I am- I drug her to my bathroom, handed...
I knew there was a reason why reviewing products was the job for me. I always get asked to try new things and share my thoughts about them with others. Sometimes I get lucky enough to try something that isn’t usually found at a super market or a local specialty store. These are the products that I find most interesting. Especially when it involves coffee!
Seriously. Coffee is the most wonderful thing in the world. I love coffee scented candles and lotions. I love visiting book stores, for the coffee and love sitting at coffee shops and drinking a nice cold one…with whip cream and caramel-...
When it comes to reviewing DVDs, my girls are always happy to assist. They love the variety of movies that come through the door. They like the surprises that lurk in every envelope and they especially like knowing that their thoughts count.
The latest DVDs to hit our TV screen are cute, fun and full of laughs! The girls enjoyed them and thought you’d be happy to hear about them too.

Hey guys…great news! I am now titled as an official “CSN Preferred Blogger”! This is so exciting!
What this means is that you’ll continue to hear more from me on the over 200+ stores offered at CSN. It also means that I’m going to do another product (store) review very soon.
Though I won’t be reviewing this particular product (I wish I could! Could you imagine…that would be a dream job alright-LOL)…as I window shopped, I came across a store with some really cool bedroom furniture sets. They have a ton of really cute princess-ee bunk beds for the girls. One’s that I would just...
Admitting I’m beautiful may be the hardest thing I’ve ever had to say to myself.
“You are beautiful”…can you say this without laughing back at the person in the mirror? I can’t. Each time I’ve tried, it’s always been followed by self doubt and criticism. It’s aggravating but something I can’t get away from.
I was born with bilateral cleft lip…and sadly, it was pretty major. I have undergone 23 facial surgeries in my life. To this day, I still have major issues with my teeth (something that was never made a priority). As a child; I was always picked on. I hated going to...
SAM-e Complete is an all natural daily vitamin that, if taken regularly, can help promote a healthy mood by ensuring a balance of overall healthy brain cell functions. And…the best part; you can begin to feel the effects in as little as 7-14 days.
Using SAM-e has made an overall difference in the way I handle all those little problems thrown my way. No longer am I “blowing off the deep end” or becoming this chaotic lunatic when something doesn’t go my way. I’ve taken a more subtle approach. I laugh it off, analyze the situation and then fix what ever needs fixing. I haven’t been approached...
Talk about being in mint-chocolate-ee blissful heaven with this one! WOW…have you seen the new Chocolate Mint Sensations in your grocery store? Have you had the chance to try them out? If you haven’t, you need to. That is, of course, if you love chocolate and mint- together (some people surprisingly don’t). I happen to love it!
Mousse temptations comes in Caramel crème, Chocolate Indulgence and Dark Chocolate Decadence! Each is sugar-free and only 60 calories. The average retail price per six-pack is $3.19 and can be found at most grocers nationwide.
The girls and I ate every one of the...
OMG…can we say OUCH! LOL
I’m just kidding about that. I actually didn’t feel too many “ouch” moments while using this. In fact, I’ve been using the Twist-N-Roll tweezers for a good two weeks now and have been amazed at how this little gadget works! What amazes me more is that there is little to no effort at all while use it. You just need a little hand coordination.
Now because this is somewhat of an unusual looking product; I’m going to get right to the review. I’m sure that many of you have a few questions for me about whether it hurts or not, where it can be used, how it...
The girls and I were given an opportunity to try a new ‘@Home’ business, from Emily Rose, for moms and daughters. As part of the business starter kit (a $99.00 value); we received our very own personal website for three months, 100 order forms, 20 catalogs, three garments (for your typical 18” doll), and much more.
The girls do not own a Madame Alexander Doll (yet) nor do they have any other type of real ‘doll’ (besides plush) to speak of, but what the do have is an imagination, an ability to compromise and a ton of stuffed animals dying to be dressed…
Patience and Piper (being the...
My girls are all about watching TV. I don’t even have to oversee what’s being put on the tube because; well…aside from being in the same room with them at all times, they usually only jump between five channels.
In order of priority (to them); on TV first is always PBS Kids so that they can see all the usual morning shows they love so much. Then at noon they switch between The Animal Planet & TLC. They have to watch Cake Boss and a Baby Story (they have a serious addiction to these shows). Now, when those shows are over; then…and only then will they flip between Disney and Nickelodeon....
Though school will be starting very soon (mid to late August for most); vacations are still happening everywhere.
But it’s not too late to book your stay with any of the participating Marriott hotels.
I received a package that showed the girls and I just how cool the sleepover packs can be are. I was impressed at how great these products were (superior quality) and how- shockingly- my girls didn’t even fight over any of it. They simply shared (without being asked) and everyone was happy.
The box I received in the mail is considered to be a Package B (detials below). When you book, you’ll...
It’s a summer blog tour with Tommee Tippee…and I was invited! Hip-hip hooray!!
Just last week; I received, in the mail, a package with three very useful products for baby. Now as most of you know, I don’t have any little ones younger than 7, but with the ever growing number of nieces and nephews in our family, I figured I’d do my part and gain the products needed to help these little tykes out. Plus, it gives me a chance to see what’s out there; what’s new, what’s fun and what’s worthy of buying. It makes my job as an Aunt all the more fun and rewarding too.
There’s been a number...
My kids and I have been using Culturelle for close to a month now and I’d like to share some of my thoughts on their progress. I also have one more ‘I heart Bacteria’ T-Shirts to give away to one lucky Blogfully reader. By the way- Congrats to Renee. Our last T-shirt giveaway winner!!! You should be receiving it soon.
Okay, so here’s the scoop. The results vary between both girls, but so far they seem to be progressively doing better. I like that it has worked very well, and almost instantly, with Piper (the youngest). She is going to the bathroom on a more regular basis and has literally...
My husband is not a coffee drinker; never has been. He has always, however, enjoyed the aromas that linger through the house. He just refuses to take part in drinking it. This is a little disappointing at times because I’d love to share my coffee drinking moments with him but I’m okay with it (for the most part). It just means more for me.
When New England coffee offered to send a few bags over for me to try; I had no idea they were sending me as many as they did. Six bags were more than I was expecting. Let’s just say I was hysterical at the site of each. I’m talking coffee drinker’s...

Lucky #2- KarenK is our winner…CONGRATS! I will be emailing you shortly.
Boy have I got a bundle of books for you…well, one lucky Blogfully reader. But still, it’s a bundle to say the least.
The reason I’ve taken so long to post this giveaway is because I had to enjoy the books I received first. There’s six books in total and I think you’re going to love them all. I did. In fact, I’ve got a few favorites already and I can’t wait to hear what you think about them…shall we start?
Oh, and just so we’re...
