Hey all!! I’m home and so freakin’ exhausted- LOL! Well, it was a super fun visit (aside from the reason behind it all). As I stated in an earlier post; this past Sunday my sister contacted me. She asked if I would be willing to drive to her house and help my mother. Apparently she was having a lot of problems with her pregnancy and was heading to the hospital. She was fearing the worst and without going into too much detail about it all; I didn’t hesitate to head over as quick as I could. It worked out well. Hey guys. Just a quick update to let you know that my sister is doing fine and I should be returning home in the next day or two. The fact that school starts (for my kids) next week; I have no choice, but also- my sister’s doing much better now. She still needs rest and has to stay off her feet, not carry anything over 10 lbs and relax…but, aside from that she’s doing awesome. They baby is great too! I thank God every day; for the beautiful, healthy, rambunctious, stern, opinionated children I have. I love that they have a voice to speak (even though I’d like them to be quiet sometimes). I love that they have legs to walk (even though I wish they’d sit still for an hour or two). I love that they can see (even though I wish they’d close their eyes and sleep every once in a while)…and I love that they can smell (nothing bad there). In a nutshell; I love everything there is about them, but most importantly and with all joking aside, I love that they were born healthy, strong and able...
Apparently my laundry soap addiction causes a lot of friction between the hub and I. He says I use far too much soap and I say he’s crazy. The arguing back and forth, about this, has gotten a little ridiculous over the years. So…the good wife that I am decided to put an end to this discussion and lean towards what he deems appropriate laundry use. Yeah, call me the good one! Upon request (a few weeks ago); I received a Robby Wash laundry ball. After using it a few times; I’ll have to admit, it’s been pretty neat. I’m not even upset that he’s won this battle…but, he doesn’t know...
Paper Mate has always been a brand of choice in my home. I am an extreme lefty and find that when I use Paper Mate products, I’m not left with smeared paper and a tinted left hand. Trust me…there’s nothing worse than having to re-write a paper, or refill a form because it’s destroyed by trails of smeared ugliness. I knew there was a reason why reviewing products was the job for me. I always get asked to try new things and share my thoughts about them with others. When it comes to reviewing DVDs, my girls are always happy to assist. They love the variety of movies that come through the door. Every second Tuesday, of every month, I clean a friends house. I’ve been doing this for almost a year now. I don’t charge much because the house is pretty well maintained. I basically go through with a duster and clean off counters, clean up a few bathrooms, mop and I’m done. This normally doesn’t exceed an hours time.
